Spring '08 Retreats in the Berkshire Mountains!

                                                    

These techniques, taught in many Asian clinics, balance chi and enhance overall health.  The center offers weekly classes, weekend seminars with master teachers, and special weeklong summer retreats.

Marie Favorito is a Senior Instructor in the International Healing Tao founded by Master Mantak Chia.  Marie Co-Chairs the Certification Committee for the Healing Tao Instructors Association, (HTIA),  and is past President on the Executive Committee responsible for guiding organization in its mission to promote chi kung healing practices and certify instructors in International Healing Tao techniques.

Marie has over 20 years of teaching experience in the Tao that include many aspects of Chi Kung:  Tai Chi Short Form, Tai Chi Long Form,  Tai Chi Sword, numerous Chi Kung Forms and many levels of healing meditation.

As well as teaching these Taoist practices Marie incorporates Chi Organ-Abdominal Massage known as Chi Nei Tsang. This Taoist practice focuses on massaging the navel area in order to stimulate and balance the whole body's energy.  Marie Favorito offers Chi Kung Healing in her private practice. 

Marie has been a guest lecturer at various venues to speak on Taoist practices such as yoga, chi kung healing for women, seniors, and the general population to lay and professional audiences.

Past engagements include talks at Tufts University, College of the Holy Cross, Harvard Community Health Plan, Interface, Dao Mountain Retreat and Salt Lake City Community College, Utah.

She has taught workshops Internationally in Germany, Australia, Canada and Mexico and holds retreats each summer in the Catskill Mountains of New York.
