Tuesday Evening Chi Kung & Meditation Class
May 2 @ 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

This Tuesday evening class includes the following practices:

Chi Kung Basics:  Especially good for developing balance, strength, flexibility and enhancing the ‘chi field’.

Three Dan Tien, Washing Heaven and Earth Chi Kung: The most simple Chi Kung for beginners and advanced practitioners. Especially good for developing the ‘Chi Kung State’.

Ba Gua Chi Kung and Walking: Literally translated as 8 directions, Ba Gua is a sister internal art to Tai Chi. Ba Gua includes 8 animal chi kung forms that emphasize circular movements and spiraling, coiling power.

Incense Chi Kung: is a very gentle set of Chi Kung Buddhist exercises that work with the whole body.  Fifteen separate movements that can be done by all. Movements and stretches that open the body’s energy pathways and allow for greater flexibility.

Meditations:

Chi Kung practice increases your Chi, (Life Force Energy), to bring a sense of centeredness and calm. The graceful moves of Chi Kung, can invigorate and sculpt a lean, supple, agile body, fine tune your senses and supercharge your immune system.

The Microcosmic Orbit, Inner Smile, Six Healing Sounds and more. The Orbit is a meditation practice in which you focus on circulating your life force through two of the most important energy channels in your body. These two channels, the Functional (Ren Mai), and the Governor, (Du Mai), connect in a flowing circle going up the spine, over the head, and down the front center of the body.  The front and back channel are joined to form a circuit of continuous energy flow.  This circuit is called the Microcosmic Orbit.

Students learn Master Wei Lun Huang’s 108 movement classical Yang style Tai Chi Long Form.   The highest function of the mind is to focus.  You will strengthen your mind-power when you practice these incredible, graceful movements in this powerful Yang Style Long Form.

Microcosmic Orbit Meditation Workshop @ BHT Studio

Taoist meditation practice starts with opening the Microcosmic Orbit. The Microcosmic Orbit is a meditation practice in which you focus on circulating your life force through two of the most important energy channels in your body. These two channels connect in a flowing circle going up the spine, over the head, and down the front center of the body.  The front and back channel are joined to form a circuit of continuous energy flow.  This circuit is called the Microcosmic Orbit.

Your meditation is further enhanced by blending and supplementing your body’s own energy with the energies of Nature, the Universal, Cosmic, and Earth Forces which surround us. This not only raises your ‘vibration’, but greatly increased resistance to stress and illness.
